One of the best "equalizers" left on the planet remain American jury trials.

History

In the early and mid 1980’s, a criminal defense attorney named Leon Taylor hired a group of young UNM law graduates as associates. For several years, the firm tried criminal case after criminal case and formed a partnership. By 1988, the AV-rated firm Taylor, Gaddy, Rakes & Hall enjoyed high success rates built upon hard, quality work, and began to branch into civil litigation. For a time in the 1990s, the firm’s four partners employed as many as 24 people, including in-house investigators, associate attorneys, paralegals and support staff. Down-sizing began as interests changed and families grew.

From 1994 until the end of 1999, the firm of Gaddy & Hall operated out of their office building in the “uptown” area of Albuquerque. Phil Gaddy and Brad Hall amicably went their separate ways in January, 2000, after building a tradition of commitment to quality litigation services to a wide variety of plaintiffs. From 2000 to 2010, Brad Hall litigated civil rights and injuries of his clients from the University of New Mexico area of Albuquerque, while often working from his Montana branch office. In 2011, Brad Hall moved his offices into downtown Albuquerque.
